Federal Careers Panel and Networking Event

"Find Your Fit…It might just be with the Federal Government" must have been on the minds of the over 230 students and alumni that attended the 2009 Federal Career Panel and Networking event on October 27.  The Career Center saw a record number of agencies and students attend this year's event.

"We were so pleased to see over 230 students and alum make meaningful connections with the 13 agencies that attended this year's event" commented Lucinda Van Inwagen, The Career Center Assistant Director of Employer Relations.  Van Inwagen went on to say, "not only are our students interested in seeking careers in the federal government, the government is interested in CSU students and what our they have to offer".

If you missed this year's event be sure to check our website next fall for next year's event date.  The federal government offers a wide array of careers with job security, fair pay and good benefits.  If you are interested in finding out more about federal jobs and how to apply schedule an appointment with one of our Career Counselors by calling 970-491-5707 or dropping by the Career Center located on the lower level of the Lory Student Center, Rm 26.
