• Entertainment Employment Journal - Companies offering internships can range from major studios to TV & radio stations to production/development offices to publicity or talent agencies.
• Gigmasters - Online Booking Agents - Gigmasters is the world's largest online directory of actively gigging musicians. Looking for students who love music, who want to gain media experience and have fun doing it. This is a virtual internship.

• Direct Marketing Association - This national nonprofit has a listing service for hundreds of national internships many of them are paid. Direct marketing is not just about getting junk mail in your box. Its various methods serve many industries and interests.
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities in Science Management - offered by life science organizations in one or more of a wide variety of areas in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Operations Management, Investment, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Public Relations, Clinical Testing, Quality Control. These internships are ideal for Biology and Biotechnology students considering an MBA who want to gain some experience in the types of positions offered to grads with the BS/MBA combination.
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities with Private Companies - offered by private, for-profit companies in the Life Sciences. Often these companies offer opportunities year-round, usually pay more than most nonprofit organizations and universities, and have less "restrictions" on eligibility. However, some of the positions offered by these organizations are routine in nature, although still related to life sciences.

• American Hiking Society: Inside American Hiking: Jobs and Internships - American Hiking is the only national organization dedicated to serving hikers and protecting the nation's hiking trails. From the halls of Congress to the backcountry, AHS speaks up for America's hikers and the trails they love.
• National Wildlife Federation Internship Program – Offers internships at offices nationwide; interns can work in conservation, education, fundraising, communications, legal and publications. 

Engineering

• Co-op/Internship Opportunities for Minority and Underrepresented Students - website specifically focus on providing opportunities for minority students and students from underrepresented groups in the sciences and medicine. If you believe that you qualify, you should definitely explore these exciting opportunities.
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities in University-Based Research Positions - offered by universities and university-based research organizations. These types of co-ops are especially useful for students who want to explore research careers and/or graduate school. The pay for most of these positions is ~$2,500-$3,000 for 9-12 weeks. Most of these university research programs fully pay (or subsidize) room & board (usually in dormitories) and pay the full (or partial) costs of your transportation to and from the university.
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities with Private Companies - offered by private, for-profit companies in the Life Sciences. Graduate Students

• ASPH/CDC/ATSDR Internship Program - a twelve-week assignment offered during the spring/summer or fall/winter. All interns are based at CDC's and ATSDR's headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, or Hyattsville, Maryland; Cincinnati, Ohio; Morgantown, West Virginia; Fort Collins, Colorado; and Anchorage, Alaska. Are these internships paid? A stipend of $5,000.00 is provided for the twelve-week period. Any full- or part-time student, who is enrolled in a master's or doctoral level degree program in an ASPH member school of public health in the United States or Puerto Rico, qualifies for participation in the program. To be eligible for an internship, the applicant must be a US citizen or have a visa permitting permanent residence in the US
• The Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry - Young professionals and mature students from the ages of 21 to 35 who share the dream of a leadership career in business and industry. Global Village interns are a diverse group in many respects, coming from different backgrounds, cultures, countries, and languages.

It is a two-year internship program which enables graduate degree students to be appointed to federal positions as PMIs and to also have the opportunity to be converted to a permanent federal civil service position following their successful internship.

International Internships

• CDS International - CDS serves almost 1,400 individuals each year from the United States, Germany, and over 50 other countries in Europe, Asia and South America in a variety of work/study, internship, and study tour programs. A nonprofit organization committed to the advancement of international practical training opportunities.
• Council on Educational Exchange - offers lots of volunteer and work experiences abroad, which may be worked out through department for credit. Several tips on going abroad.
• Dickinson College Career Center - has links to several free services for linking students to internships in field and country desired. Also, the mail page offers in-depth advice in making the decision to go abroad and how to prepare.

• Intrax Intern Abroad (IIA) - is a professional career development program focused on providing students with practical, professional work experience and global skills training in major economic centers overseas. 
• ISLA - International Service Learning Alliance - is a Fort Collins-based non-profit organization offering internships abroad that focus on sustainable development.  Internships are available in natural resources, youth development and education, health and nutrition, applied sciences, business, design and merchandising, and more.

• US State Department - several student employment programs that enable students to get experience in a foreign affairs environment through on-the job experience. Some of our students work in Washington, DC, and others have the opportunity to work at an embassy overseas. Positions are both paid and unpaid and many are available during spring, summer or fall.

• Aprovecho Research Center Home Page - Aprovecho is a center for research, experimentation and education on alternative technologies that are ecologically sustainable and culturally responsive. Our fields of study include organic gardening, sustainable forestry, indigenous skills and appropriate technology. The center is located on a beautiful 40-acre land trust near Eugene, Oregon.
• Cedar Creek Natural History Area - Much of our current work examines the ecology of our changing planet. Around the globe, humans are inducing extinctions, changing the atmosphere, increasing nutrients, transporting invasive species, altering fire frequency---all of which may alter the stability and functioning of ecosystems worldwide. At Cedar Creek we try to understand such impacts on ecosystems through long-term experiments and observations.

• Co-op/Internship Opportunities in Science Management - offered by life science organizations in one or more of a wide variety of areas in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Operations Management, Investment, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Public Relations, Clinical Testing, Quality Control. These internships are ideal for Biology and Biotechnology students considering an MBA who want to gain some experience in the types of positions offered to grads with the BS/MBA combination.
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities in University-Based Research Positions - offered by universities and university-based research organizations. These types of co-ops are especially useful for students who want to explore research careers and/or graduate school. The pay for most of these positions is ~$2,500-$3,000 for 9-12 weeks. Most of these university research programs fully pay (or subsidize) room & board (usually in dormitories) and pay the full (or partial) costs of your transportation to and from the university.
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities with Immunology - offers experiences in Immunology or any related field (e.g., cancer, vaccines, autoimmunity, infectious diseases, etc.).
• Co-op/Internship Opportunities with Private Companies - offered by private, for-profit companies in the Life Sciences. Often these companies offer opportunities year-round, usually pay more than most nonprofit organizations and universities, and have less "restrictions" on eligibility. However, some of the positions offered by these organizations are routine in nature, although still related to life sciences.

• Oak Ridge Associated Universities - Graduate Research Fellowships to support graduate study in science, mathematics and engineering. Three-year fellowship provides a stipend, and a cost-of-education allowance.
