Career and Internship Fairs

The Career Center sponsors several annual career fairs. Career fairs are an excellent opportunity for employers and students to speak about career trends and potential employment opportunities. Students from all majors and all levels (first year through alumni) are invited to attend.  The following events are scheduled for 2009 - 2010.

Fall 2009 Career Fair

Registration for Fall 2009 Career Fair begins the week of June 8 through CareerRAM.  If you have questions, contact Connie Horak at Connie.Horak@colostate.edu or (970) 491-5708.

Day 1: Focus on Science, Environment, Health, and Social Services

Tuesday September 15, 2009, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center, Main Ballroom

This day will focus on career opportunities in Science, Environment. Natural Resources, Agriculture, Recreation & Tourism, Sports Medicine, Health, Wellness, Social Services, and Criminal Justice.  Opportunities for employers to conduct next-day interviews will be available.

In addition to employers, graduate schools and professional programs in Science and Health fields will be invited to attend. 

Day 2: Focus on Management, Finance, Liberal Arts, and Marketing

Wednesday September 16, 2009 - 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center, Main Ballroom

This day will focus on career opportunities in Business Management, Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications/Media, Retail, and Sales.  Opportunities for employers to conduct next-day interviews will be available.

 In addition to employers, graduate schools and professional programs in Business fields and Law Schools will be invited to attend.

Day 3: Focus on Engineering and Technology

Thursday September 17, 2009 - 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Lory Student Center, Main Ballroom 

This day will focus on Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, & Physics.  Opportunities for employers to conduct next-day interviews will be available.

In addition to employers, graduate schools and professional programs ion Engineering and Technology fields will be invited to attend.


Agricultural Sciences Career Fair

Engineering Career Fair

Teacher Job Fair

April 14, 2010 - Lory Student Center, Main Ballroom
The Teacher Job Fair provides an opportunity for licensed teachers in all certification areas to meet with hiring officials from over 70 districts in Colorado. During this event, employers will collect resumes and interview teacher candidates for the next academic year. Registration for teachers and school districts will open in December of 2009 and will close April 1st, 2010 or when full.
