What kinds of jobs/internships can I post?

The Career Center welcomes you to post your full-time, part-time, internship and summer opportunities for our students and alumni. The Career Center strives to provide information that will connect Colorado State University students to the best possible job opportunities offering training, support, and structure in internships or entry-level career positions. Ideally, we look for positions that offer work experience related to a student's major or career goals in which they can continue building skills on-the-job.

Our system also serves Colorado State University alumni, and we welcome you to post your experienced positions, as well.

How do I know if I am an eligible employer?

Please see our Policies and Practices section for more information.

How long does it take to activate a job/internship once submitted to The Career Center?

Our office strives to provide a fast turnaround for your job and internship postings. The process typically takes 1 to 3 days from submission to activation, but this can vary depending on the method in which the posting was submitted and our current volume of postings. Postings submitted via fax, email or mail may have a longer processing time due to the data entry load of our staff. When you post directly to CareerRAM, you eliminate the need for our office to enter the information into the system for you, thereby speeding the activation process.

How can I view my posted job/internship?

To view your posted job or internship on our CareerRAM system, you will need to create or log into your employer account.

How long will my posting stay active?

Students like to know that our opportunities are current and they will be more interested in applying if the posting is "fresh." Therefore, opportunities are posted on CareerRAM for no longer than 3 months at a time. If your posting expires before being filled, you are welcome to repost your position.

It’s easy! To repost:

Log in to your CareerRAM account (link to CareerRAM graphic) and go to the "My Job" tab on the menu bar. Select "Job List" from the dropdown menu and edit the date fields to reflect the new System Expiration Date for your posting. Click Save and leave the rest to us!

—OR—

Submit an email request to jobposting@colostate.edu with (1) the Job ID number, (2) organization name, (3) contact name, (4) job title, and (5) new closing date. Our office will update your posting and reply via email when completed.

Conducting interviews on campus is a free, convenient and effective way to meet with qualified CSU candidates. We have several interview rooms available to use, and The Career Center can assist you in scheduling either Open or Preselect interview schedules.

CareerRam is our online recruiting system that allows you to request on-campus interviewing dates/schedules, view and download submitted resumes, pre-select candidates for interviews and view/print your interview schedule(s).
