Commission Positions
Due to varying employment, business and compensation models used by employers, The Career Center will exercise discretion in working with those employers that comply with our established policies and practices including policies. Employers interested in posting positions which are largely commission-based must read and follow CSU Career Center Statement on Commission Positions and complete the 'Request to Post' form found therein.
Financial Services Organizations
Due to varying business and compensation models used by employers within the financial industry, The Career Center will exercise discretion in working with those employers that comply with our established policies and practices including policies with regard to commission positions. Interested parties are invited to submit a Request to Recruit and/or Post for review.
Network Marketing Organizations
Network Marketing Organizations, often referred to as multi-level marketing business models, are not considered "employers" by The Career Center and are not eligible to participate in Career Center sponsored interviews, resume referrals, job listings, employer presentations, and/or sponsorships for on-campus activities.
Third Party Recruiting/Staffing Agencies
In general, we work with 3rd party/staffing agencies that have current openings related to the majors we offer and careers our students are pursuing, do not charge a fee to candidates, and if we are not already working with the employer you represent. Please refer to our policy statement for details.
