2nd Major: Political Science Minor: Spanish

Graduation May 2007

Kathryn was one of the Career Center's Career Peer Advisors while at CSU. She also had the opportunity to complete an internship with the Internal Revenue Service in Washington DC during the summer of 2006. The Career Center assisted her with her internship search, resume and cover letter writing, graduate school counseling, personal statement critiques and mock interviews. Kathryn believes she gained a high quality and diverse education. She had extremely supportive and engaging professors who really sought to prepare students for life after college.

Kathryn's advice to students:

"Experience everything you can at CSU and use the on campus services, whether it is guest lectures, advocacy offices, the Career or Counseling Centers, or a football game. You never know where they might lead and what people you could meet."

I wanted to send a quick email to thank you for your help with my resume a few weeks ago. It was tremendously helpful. So helpful in fact, that I've landed a full time job as a Physical Therapy Aide recently. My new bosses even mentioned how professional my resume looked! Anyways, thank you again. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. I look forward to meeting with you in the upcoming months to discuss my personal statement and tips for school admissions ;) Respectfully,
