Instant Message (IM) The Career Center!

Do you need quick advice from a career counselor? The "IM The Career Center" program is designed to help CSU students and alumni ask questions and get answers fast! We will assist you with any of your immediate concerns regarding job searching, interviewing, upcoming events, scheduling appointments, and a variety of other services our Center provides.

The Career Center screen name is CSUCareerCenter. You can access this service from any computer using AOL, Yahoo, or Google Talk instant messaging services.

What can I ask?

Any kind of career or job search question is welcome. IM inquiries are treated like phone inquiries; if the question requires a more detailed response, you may be referred to another Career Center service / counselor to work with you on your needs.

When can I IM?

IM service will be available during regular office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Who can IM?

IM service is available for CSU students, alumni, employers, faculty and staff.
