Jeremy serves as the Director of The Career Center at Colorado State,
providing strategic direction to all facets of student career training, employer
engagement, and career events. In this role he leads a network of staff teams that
collaborate with every academic college and every cultural center on campus to
ensure students, alumni, and employers are receiving holistic service and future success.
Prior to coming to Colorado State earlier this year, Jeremy spent 11 years in Career Services at Indiana University where he was The Director of Career Services at the School of Informatics and Computing for 6 of those years. Jeremy has visited with over 500 companies, has trained thousands of students for job search success, and is passionate about building partnerships with industry and alumni.
Jeremy received his bachelors in English Education from Western Michigan University, and his Masters in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University. Outside of work, he enjoys walking and laughing with his wife and three children, is an avid college basketball fan, and loves trying new restaurants.

Pamela is the Sr. Associate Director of Career Counseling Services for The Career Center at Colorado State University. She leads the Career Counseling staff in the development of services that we provide students around career exploration, career planning and gaining career experience, and job and internship searches.
Pamela has been in Career Services and in the university setting for four years. Prior to coming to Colorado State she worked for over 20 years in business in a variety of industries. Her background includes experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Leadership, Management, Coaching, Counseling and Career Development.
Pamela received her bachelors in Business Management from Ithaca College, and her Masters in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University. She loves working with others with their own personal and professional development. She is energized by coaching others to be their best and achieve their highest level of success. Pamela is passionate about helping others to discover their intended purpose and create, design and achieve a successful life they love. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, two boys and two Golden Retrievers – Aspen and Copper, exercising and being active outdoors, walking, hiking, biking or skiing, spending quiet time reading (mostly self-help), listening to music and loves food and watching movies.

This is Carissa’s second full year working in a Career Center and she has had experience now in both a large and small university setting. Her undergraduate degree is in both Psychology and Exercise Science and she will receive her Masters of Education and Human Resources from the Counseling and Career Development Program in May. Carissa’s passion involves working with the undeclared population of students and working with the student athletes here on CSU’s campus. She is really enjoying the large university setting and is really enjoying her time with the CSU Career Center.

She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Maryland and her Master’s in Student Personnel Administration from The University of South Carolina. Judy is passionate about experiential learning opportunities for students’ to help them explore their career opportunities and build their professional brand.

Elissa has a passion for empowering students of all backgrounds to set and reach their goals. In her seven years in Higher Education, Elissa has worked toward developing and enhancing Diversity and Student Success initiatives; directly reaching thousands of students through courses, programs, trainings, advising student orgs – and of course, as a caring career counselor. With a BA in Psychology/Linguistics and an M.S.Ed in Intercultural Communication, Elissa is now receiving her masters in Counseling and Career Development. At CSU’s Career Center, Elissa’s role is as a Generalist Counselor. She enjoys serving students in all majors, including undeclared.

Beka Crocket, who is a CSU College of Ag Alumni is a Colorado-raised ranch lady who started her career as an agriculture educator. Growing-up on a working cattle ranch, agriculture is something that Beka has always promoted. She assists in educating others about where their food comes from. While Beka no longer resides on the ranch she holds agriculture dear to her heart both personally
and professionally. Beka transitioned from working in the agriculture industry to teaching and counseling underserved populations and those with severe mental illness prior to coming to CSU. She currently serves as the College of Agricultural Sciences Career Center Liaison. Her passion is to help students find their fit.

Arissa is in her third year of the Counseling Psychology PhD program at CSU and has focused much of her work on vocational psychology. She has led career workshops with community college students and is working on developing that content into a website. Arissa is a CSU Career Center liaison to CVMBS.

Kara’s passion is working with students to help them discover themselves and explore possibilities. Her work at the Career Center involves helping students explore major and career options, resume/cover letter writing, job search assistance, as well as many other areas.

Wendy has a diversity of experience ranging from apparel manufacturing, fundraising, counseling, and corporate finance. She found her passion doing career services and has worked in this for 10 years in both a law school environment and at CSU’s Career Center as the Liaison to the College of Liberal Arts. Her education includes a BA in English Literature, which she uses every day, and a MEd in Counseling. She also obtained the CPA certification route for Accounting (qualification to take the CPA exam). Wendy is MBTI certified. She wants to help people REALIZE their full potential using their strengths, interests and unique qualities to build a better world.

Casey is a Career Counseling Intern and a PhD student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at CSU. She has a background in counseling psychology and is dedicated to helping students in their career journeys. Casey does drop-ins, individual appointments, mock interviews, and workshops at the Career Center and the College of Business Career Management Center. As a student she does assessment/coaching, organizational research, and interventions.

Barb has worked in career services in higher education for over 12 years where she enjoys helping students figure what they want to do next and how to do it. At Colorado State University (CSU), she is the Assistant Director/Career Center Liaison to the Warner College of Natural Resources. Through her work at CSU, she developed expertise in the federal hiring process and federal resumes. Barb’s undergraduate degree is in History from Colorado College in Colorado Springs and her graduate degree is in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University in Ohio.

Chase has been involved in counseling through various capacities for 12 years. He decided to become formally educated in helping individuals achieve their personal goals and is in his second year of a Master’s program here at Colorado State University. Chase also earned his undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology at CSU which matches well with helping students from diverse backgrounds. Chase’s focus at the Career Center is to bridge already existing interests and aptitudes of students with career goals in way that prepares them for change and success in the evolving working world.

Teresa has a nearly fifteen year history with The Career Center. Fourteen of those years have been as the recruiting coordinator for the office. She works to connect employers and students through on-campus interviews. Many students are hired through on-campus interviews and she enjoys being a part of making that happen for students. It’s rewarding and exciting to her to know students have received job offers after on-campus interviews.

Lucinda’s has diverse industry experience of more than 20 years, skilled in new business and partnership development, customer relationship management, sales, recruitment and human resource management. In 2002, she began her role in employer relations with Colorado State University’s Career Center. In her role, she has been able to apply her passion and experience in collaborating with people, developing relationships/partnerships, and consulting with employers to support talent acquisition and career success of CSU students and alumni.
She supported the re-activation of the CSU Student Society for Human Resource Management in 2007 and serves as faculty co-advisor. She has active roles in Mountain Pacific Association for Colleges and Employers (MPACE) and Collegiate Career Services for Colorado and Wyoming (CCSA). Lucinda has a BA in Mass Communications and Psychology from the University of Denver and a Masters of Education and Human Resources Studies from Colorado State University.

Being an Asian American woman, she is dedicated to the commitment of success to underrepresented and at-risk populations. Her undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Ethnic Studies and is currently working towards a Certificate in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Her contributions to the Career Center includes strategic planning and implementation of outreach in the office and leading the front desk student staff/ student ambassadors.
